Women linchpin of a society’s progress: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed a gathering of the senior female students of Minhaj College for Women that was part of intellectual training. He termed the women and girls as the future of Pakistan. He said that it is an accepted fact in the world that a society whose women and girls are educated and empowered, no power can stop such a society and a polity from moving forward.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that MQI has set up educational institutions where female students belonging to underprivileged sections of society are getting education. He urged the senior students to dedicate themselves to acquisition of knowledge and allow no other engagement to come in the way of their path.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri, Fiza Hussain Qadri, Dr Samar Fatima and other teachers were also present.
