Hostel is considered a trainee home for the students who join Minhaj College for Women. In shaping their lives the hostel plays a major role as it is a communal home for students. Hostel is available for the students who want to go through self-purification which enables them to attain true Islamic spirit.

This College has a beautiful, spacious hostel, which provides students accommodation with all modern amenities of life. Students are imparted not only religious and professional education but they are helped to mould themselves into true Muslims by practising the tenets of Islam.Disciplined environment is the special feature of the hostel life. Arrangements for mess, medicine and recreations are very satisfactory. This is an added advantage that the College hostel exists within the College campus. Students do not have to face any transport problem.

Ethical, moral and spiritual training is imparted along with modern education which is a unique thing indeed. Dress and residence are always kept neat and tidy. There is another special feature of the training programmes: students fast on 13th, 14th and 15th by lunar calendar for the purification of soul.

Hostel rules and regulation

Students are expected to abide by the whole administrative and training regulations:

  • Students will be permitted to meet real relatives whose identification and pictures are attached with the form. They may go with them after 15 days generally.
  • Students are allowed to meet their relatives only on , Saturday (after college time), Sunday and attend telephone call after college hours, not weekly, but after 15 days.
  • Students must wear Islamic dress according to the code written outside the hostel .
  • If a student goes out of the hostel without permission, she will be expelled from the College.
  • Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight in the hostel or take students out of the hostel after 8:00 pm.
  • In case of misconduct, offensive or immoral language, the hostel seat of such evil doer will be cancelled
  • Students are not allowed to keep expensive things: mobile phone, CD player, gold jewelry, prize bonds, cosmetics, novels or digests and a large sum of money. The administration is not responsible for the loss of such prohibited things.
  • Students, guilty of misconduct, stealing and damaging property deliberately, are liable to be expelled from the hostel and the College.
  • Parents cannot take their daughters out of the hostel premises without permission.
  • If the dues of a student are not clear, she cannot leave the hostel premises
  • Students are expected to uphold the dignity and honour of the College and their own self-respect at all times, inside and outside the College, during and after College hours. Any decision made or disciplinary action taken by the Principal and the Disciplnary Committee is final.
  • Visitors are not allowed to meet the students during the College hours.
  • College rules maybe changed at the discretion of the Principal and the staff council for the welfare of the students.
  • If someone wants to leave the institution, she must get the clearance slip from the Vice Principal.
  • In case of disobedience, the student will have to face disciplinary action: the hostel seat will be cancelled.
  • In case of damaging the hostel assets, the students will have to replace that particular thing or pay the price.
  • Students are not allowed to see the relatives of their friends/class fellows(they are just allowed to see their own parents and relatives).
  • They have to fill the I.D form.
  • The hostel seat will be cancelled after two warnings in the case of violation and misbehaving with the management.

Note: Married students are not allotted seats in the hostel. If any student gets married during studies, she will have to leave the hostel seat instantly.
