Minhaj College for Women arranged a Quaid Day ceremony. Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri attended the ceremony as a special guest. In her speech on the occasion, she said that knowledge becomes productive knowledge only through training and effort in the company of the spiritual mentor. She said that Shaykh-ul-Islam is a bright example of constant struggle who is creating history through his efforts and contributions. She said that he has devoted a large chunk of his time in the acquisition of knowledge from his childhood until today, which is a role model for us.
Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri said that the availability of a spiritual guide is not less than a blessing, adding that we are grateful to Allah that we have this blessing in Shaykh-ul-Islam. She said that it is now on us to value this blessing. She said we should mould our lives according to Uswa-e-Hasna in the real sense.
The students decorated beautiful corners in connection with the Quaid Day and cut the cake marking the 71st birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Ms. Humaira Naz, vice-principal, presented the welcome address and thanked the chief guest for making time for the ceremony.
Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri distributed gifts among the students for their encouragement and congratulated the whole team on holding a splended birthday program.
