In order to keep the parents informed about the academic performance of their daughters and discuss ways and means to improve their keenness in studies, Minhaj College for Women convened a parent-teacher meeting on 19th of April 2014. The parents of students belonging to disciplines of Arts, ICS and I.Com joined the teachers at Mustafavi Hall of college to have an interaction with them. The programme commenced at 10.00 am. The faculty of Arts, ICS and I.Com briefed parents about the academic performance of their daughters. In meeting teacher evaluated the progress of academic year of the students, as well as in the field of curricular and co-curricular activities. The College rules and regulations and leave package was explained to the parents. The Principal of the College told the parents to take the responsibility towards their children particularly during the study tenure. The spiritual activities conducted in the hostel were also explained to the parents. The upcoming events and exam policy was discussed. The parents lauded the effort of the administration and expressed their desire to hold more meetings to know about their daughters’ performance in curricular and extra-curricular domains.
