M. Phil Islamic Studies

Minhaj College for Women is offering MPhil Islamic studies two years program since 2013. The MPhil Islamic studies students are required to complete specific course work and research work under the supervision of highly qualified instructors and supervisors. This program is designed to focus on technical study of original sources so that new dimension of understanding of Islam can be discovered with the guidance of Quran. This program provides to the scholars an opportunity of exercising independent critical judgment through the research skills for the service of Islamic & Muslim communities.

Admission Criteria

Masters degree in Islamic Studies, with at least second division from any recognized university.
Graduates of HEC approved degree of Al Shahdat ul-Aalmiya can also apply for admission(Equivalence certificate is required) but they must have B.A from any recognized university

Physical fitness
50% marks in GAT General Test
Comprehensive Test and Interview.

Selection Process:

Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/criteria laid down by the College / University.

Duration: 2 Years

Medium of Instruction: Urdu/English/Arabic

Teaching Methodology:

The College allots Study Centre and Tutors for the Students to get guideline accordingly. A student has to secure passing marks in Assignments as well as in final exams to successfully complete concerned Educational Program.
