Department of English Language & Literature BS English

Department of English, Minhaj College for Women is one of those departments which started functioning skillfully in 2016. The beginning was very humble and our assets included five students and four faculty members. We have now a diverse community of more than 200 hundred students enrolled in BS English programs. The number of faculty members is increasing annually. All faculty members are highly educated and well trained. The Department has been the first in the region (province of Punjab) to introduce 4-Year BS (Hons) degree in English with duel degree(with Sharaiah) program, which offers research-based opportunity to specialize in the fields of English Literature and Linguistics along with Islamic knowledge.

• BS Program – 4 Years, Leads to 16-years education
• Morning program (Only for girls) (Fall and Spring Semester)

SELF DEVELOPMENT CENTER (SDC)

The Self Development Center is fully functional, assisting students and teachers in teaching, learning and research activities. it was established in 2021 to host and facilitate training sessions. The center was established with a vision to develop it as HUB for E-learning and design online teachers’/ students’ training and language learning courses / programs.

Eligibility Criteria

1. 50% marks in Intermediate
2. Physical fitness
3. Written Test And Interview.

Sharia Program

Minhaj College for Women offers the Shariah program (Ash Shahadat ul Aaliyah) and (Ash-Shahadat-ul -Aalamiyyah) in BS English Program with three options:

1. S English with Ash Shahadat ul Aaliyyah
2. S English without Ash Shahadat ul Aaliyyah
3. Only Ash Shahadat ul Aaliyyah Program
